How to Write to Bill Gates

While there’s a very slim chance that Bill Gates – one of the richest men in the world and the founder of Microsoft Corporation – will get to read your letter or e-mail, there’s no harm in trying.  He probably has a lot of letters and e-mails awaiting his response, and there’s always that chance that he’ll get to read your letter.  Here are some tips to help you write to Bill Gates.

Why Write Bill Gates?

Bill Gates is known to be a highly influential figure in the computing industry, but he also has a lot of stroke in humanitarian causes, world peace, the environment, education, and many other causes that help out humankind.  Here are some reasons why you should consider sending a letter over to the richest man in the planet:

  • Charity. You may be in charge of an important charity event that has very significant consequences on the future of education or the environment, and you need the support of Mr. Gates.
  • Research. Bill Gates is an advocate of many research projects and endeavors, like vaccination, immunization, HIV research, and agricultural advancements that can help increase yield and production.
  • Microsoft’s services. Another reason to write Bill Gates is to get to know more about Microsoft, the history of the company, and his involvement with projects and programs developed over the past decades.

If you plan to write or e-mail Bill Gates, here are some address entries you want to keep in mind:

I work at a small Charter school in the Dallas area. (Aubrey, TX) We have approximately 150 students and are in dire need of new laptop/ desktop computers, as well as printers. Our computers are approx. 8 years old and are failing everyday. Anything you could donate would be most appreciated by staff and students alike. Thank you for your consideration. Have a blessed day.
