With the latest trends of fashion coming and going, it’s understandable that the neck scarf is making a comeback. Getting a nice neck scarf is a great accessory to spruce up your outfit. Here are the different ways you can wear it.

European Wrap

  1. Fold the scarf in half along its width. Have the two loose ends in your right hand and the fold in the left.
  2. Put it over your head and have the center rest against your nape.
  3. Pull the loose ends into the loop between the fold.
  4. Pull the loose ends to make the folded part go tighter against your neck.
  5. You now have a very sophisticated and neat-looking scarf working for you.

Head Band

  1. A neck scarf can make for a surprisingly good headband. Simply fold the scarf into a triangle and tie the two ends together under your chin.
  2. Paired with a pair of sunglasses, a nice neat outfit, you’ll have a really classy and clean look.

Quick Toss

  1. Fold the scarf over your nape, making the two ends are level to each other.
  2. Take one end of the scarf and throw it over your shoulder. It makes for a great casual look.

Rosette Knot

  1. Fold the scarf lengthwise, twice or thrice over, depending on the desired thickness.
  2. Fold the scarf over your neck so that the middle part is resting against your nape.
  3. Twist both ends of the scarf until the whole scarf is twisted into one long rope.
  4. When you’ve twisted the scarf fully, allow it to create a small twist at the neck, wrapping it around itself to create the rosette.
  5. Tuck the scarf ends behind and under to keep it in place.
  6. Pull the ends back out.

Ascot

  1. This fold will only work on square silk scarves.
  2. Fold it along the bias and place around your neck, flipping the ends over each other.
  3. Have the ends tucked into the shirt or loose.
  4. This will work especially well with blazers or with a preppy getup.

Neckerchief

  1. Like the ascot, you can only use this on small square silk scarves.
  2. Fold the scarf on the bias, wrapping it around your neck.
  3. The the two ends in a simple knot.

Wrap

  1. The wrap works great if you don’t really feel like fiddling around with your scarf. This works best with oversize square or rectangular scarves.
  2. Place it around your shoulders, with each scarf end over the other. Alternatively, you can have the ends thrown behind your back.
