Hair is a crowning glory for many people. While some people like curly black hair, some people prefer their black hair to be straight. Straight hair is easier to style, and you can experiment with more hair styles and lengths. If you have curly or kinky black hair and you wish to straighten it, here are some ideas.

Hair Relaxer

Many hair care products on the market claim to give you soft, smooth, straight hair, but no product does the job better than hair relaxer.

Hair becomes kinky or curly because of the way the keratin (the protein that makes up hair) molecules are arranged and linked together. Relaxer works by carefully destroying the protein molecules, resulting in straight hair. There are two types of relaxer available on the market:

  • Alkaline relaxer, or lye relaxers, use sodium hydroxide to carefully straighten kinky hair. The substance is typically mixed with petroleum jelly and other substances to create a creamy substance applied to the roots of the hair. Alkaline relaxers tend to be harsh on the sensitive skin of the scalp; most alkaline relaxers are used in salons
  • Non-alkaline relaxer, or “no-lye” relaxers, use chemical substances weaker than sodium hydroxide to remove kinky curly keratin and make hair straighter and more manageable. Most no-lye relaxers are available for home use.

When using an alkaline relaxer at home, make sure to follow the instructions on the box or the manual to prevent chemical burns or other problems.

Shampoo and Conditioner

While relaxer will straighten the hair, proper maintenance is necessary to keep your hair straight, soft, and shiny. To get that smooth texture and fresh look, you need to use the right shampoo and conditioner:

  • Shampoo that contains aloe vera, coconut extract, and other ingredients that help strengthen your hair strands. Remember that because relaxer weakens hair strands, you need to replenish the keratin and nutrients that have been carefully destroyed by relaxer.
  • Conditioner helps to thicken hair and add volume to the hair strands, as well as strengthen the scalp after the relaxer treatment. Make sure to use enough conditioner to repair the damage from the relaxer.

Getting straight black hair can be a bit tricky, so you may need to go to a salon for professional hair care and treatment. With these tips and products, you can make your hair look better and feel more manageable.

      Hi everyone.
I have something to say, about aloe vera, something about which you wrote above, about health and cosmetics… For a long time, I and my fine friend use the products of the FLP Company. We at all times see the fine results and also we earn money for our families and we are happy. My friend works with AloeVera in the company of Forever Living Products has more than 5 years (My friend works ONLY in the forever living company and has a wife and three children). I know aloe vera products for weight loss for a long time, but a year ago, began working as a distributor in the forever living.
Of course, the job is some difficult, but in no other case, you really can earn so much money with so much fun and smiling faces around…
So if you want to discuss something about which you wrote above, and about my experience with aloe vera products for health, I’ll always be glad to talk.

Best regards from Washington and have a nice day!

I live in Brazil and everybody uses Keratinn hair straighteners, called Escova Progress.

It works on all types of hair and it’s a lot kinder than harshe relaxers.
