If you’re looking for a yummy Mexican treat, one famous dish you can try is tacos. Its mix of flavor has certainly become a hit among people of all ages. Best of all, it’s easy to make. Here’s a simple guide to help you out.

What You’ll Need:

Procedure:

  1. Purchase the ingredients. The amount you buy depends on how many people you’re expecting to eat. You should also decide if you’re going to serve soft shell or hard shell tacos. If you prefer the soft type, buy tortilla bread instead of the typical hard shell kind available. Don’t worry because preparation for these two are almost the same.

  3. Prepare your taco meat. If it’s frozen, defrost it first. Once ready, put it in the frying pan and cook until brown. Afterwards, remove the pan from heat and drain the fat. Add the taco seasoning mix, then mix well. Put in 3 /4 water and let simmer for at least five minutes. When ready, transfer to a bowl.
  4. Put your taco shells or tortillas into an oven, on low heat. Remember, you only want them to heat and not burn. While waiting for this, set out the other ingredients.
  5. Grate the cheese. If you want, you can do this the night before, so you won’t have to worry about this anymore.
  6. Prepare the veggies. Shred the lettuce, and dice the tomatoes and onions. The beans should be heated in the microwave. The black olives should be sliced. When you’re done, put these veggies in different bowls on the table.
  7. Transfer your condiments and sauces on bowls. Sour cream, guacamole and salsa are favorites. Get at least two kinds, so everyone will get to choose which one they prefer. Make sure you provide serving spoons.
  8. Place the heated shells on a plate, along with napkins. Tacos can be messy. Ask everyone to come over and prepare their own tacos. The most common way of putting tacos together, is placing the meat first, followed by the beans. Put the veggies on top, then cover with the sauce.

The best part of making tacos is eating them. With these tips, you can enjoy a delicious taco party with your friends and family!
