How to Make Small Breasts Look Bigger
Posted on March 2nd, 2009 by CarmeliaHaving small breasts can make some people insecure about their appearances. There are different methods to making your small breasts look bigger, and they’re pretty easy! Read on how.
Tops and Bras
What you wear will help accentuate and work with what you have. High-necked tops or tops with frills, ruffles and collars can also enhance your chest area to look bigger than it really is.
Having the right bra that provides the right support will also help with your appearance and prevent your breasts from looking saggy and underdeveloped. A push-up bra or a padded bra can also work wonders for your perceived breast size. You have the choice of getting water padding, air padding or cloth padding to help you out.
Of course, you should use the right size bra for you. Here’s how to find the right bra size.
Exercise
Exercise won’t exactly enlarge your breasts, because breasts are actually made up of fatty material. In fact, the thinner you are, the smaller your breasts become. However, exercises that help build your pectoral muscles also expand your chest, giving an illusion of your breasts becoming bigger. Eating healthily (such as adding sesame seed in your diet) accompanied with exercises will expand your pectoral muscles more. Here are some exercises to help expand those muscles:
- Push-ups. Put your hands and knees flat on the floor, with your whole body straight. Your hands should be in the same alignment as your bust. Prop yourself up by raising with your arms until they are totally straightened. Lower yourself by bending your arms until your chest almost touches the floor, and straighten your arms again.
- Modified push-ups. Assume the same position as push-ups, but this time, bend your knees backward and wrap one ankle around the other. You will have an easier pushing yourself up in this position.
- Back extension. Lie stomach-down on the floor, stretching out your entire body. Raise one hand upward and above, doing the same for the leg on the opposite side of the arm. Repeat with the other side.
- Arm swing. Stand up straight and swing one arm in a full circle clockwise for eight counts while the other arm is at rest. Do the same for the other arm afterward.
- Standing push-ups. Face a sturdy wall at arm’s length and place your palms flat against it. Push against the wall until your arms are completely extended and “lower” yourself back without bending your elbows. Repeat this around eight times a set, three times a day.
- Gentle massage. Employ gentle massage around your breasts to stimulate growth. Use the pads of your fingers to massage the breast area and the area surrounding it.
Posture
Proper posture does wonders for your bust size. Check yourself in a mirror. Are you slouching? Are your shoulders dropping in with your stomach pushing out? Assume the proper standing and sitting position and not only will you look more confident, your chest area will become more prominent! Click here to learn more about how to improve your posture.
Keep in mind that breast size a woman does not make. Be proud of what you have, and work with all your other gifts.
