Deleting Browser Cookies in Mozilla Firefox
Mozilla Firefox is a fast and convenient browser. Its features are easy to tinker with, not to mention efficient. When it comes to clearing browser cookies, Firefox lives up to its reputation of being user friendly. All you need to do is enter the Tools menu and your job is pretty much done.
Procedure:
- Open the Firefox browser.
- Click the Tools menu at the top portion of the screen.
- Select Clear Private Data, which prompts a small screen to appear.
- Place a check in the box beside Cookies. You can also mark the other fields that you want to clear.
- Once done, click Clear Private Data Now.
By deleting cookies, your username won’t appear at the login page of your email or any secure website. Make sure you remember your usernames and passwords for your internet accounts, otherwise you will lose your access to them.
Deleting Browser Cookies in Internet Explorer 7
Internet Explorer 7, Firefox’s close competitor, has a ton of features not found in some of the other browsers. Its layout is also appealing to the eyes. As for its user-friendliness, its functions are easy to access and manipulate. You should have no trouble deleting cookies from this browser.
Procedure:
- Open the IE-7 browser.
- Click the Tools, which pulls up a menu.
- Click Delete Browsing History. A new screen will then appear.
- Click Delete Cookies, which brings a small screen.
- Click Yes.
After removing the cookies, you can also delete the other temporary files stored by your browser. Just go to the same screen where you deleted the cookies and clear them.
A small consequence when deleting cookies is losing stored information for quick browsing. In this case, you can simply bookmark all the sites you frequently and would want to visit.
