The night club is simply the best place to mingle for daters. Put on a few moves by the bar and you might get a date, if you’re lucky. Approach a good-looking gal or dude with a string of witty lines and you might end up enjoying a steamy affair. However, your best chance of meeting a partner is by showing your skills on the dance floor. Remember, the dance is not just for exercise, it is your ultimate dating tool in a night club.

Stage 1: Move, Save the Eyes

In a night club setting, the best dancers don’t always get the best dates, since they are too conscious about their own movements. You should know a thing or two about moving gracefully in-tune, but a huge part of your focus should be on your prospect. His or her movements are your basis on how you should act on the dance floor. Glance at your prospect with some intent, first, then see if he or she will glance back. If your prospect does, move a little closer. He or she will follow suit if interested. Keep moving then pausing until your are dancing with each other.

Stage 2: Respond to Your Prospect’s Body Language

dancingAn animal knows what its companions want just by reading their body language, which make up for their lack of speech. On the dance floor, the music is often too loud for banter. Take a page out of an animal’s book, as you observe what your partner wants. If he or she does many excessive movements, it means normal dancing must continue. However, if the moves are a bit minimalist or somewhat flaunting his or her physical assets, move closer. You can then engage a sexy dance, which leads to a kiss or something more.

Stage 3: The Sexy Dance

Kudos to you once you reach this stage. The chance for failure is low, since you only need to maintain the gradual sexy vibe that you have established. When you and your partner’s bodies are close, hold on to a particular body part (for men - hold the hips, for women - hold the shoulders). Press your bodies together. Swing your hips as you move down then up, never missing a beat until one of you gives in to the urge to do something “romantic.” Give your partner a kiss: you certainly earned it.

Alcohol is Your Fuel

If you lack the courage to do these three simple steps, don’t be disheartened. Just swag a few more bottles of beer or slammers, then you’ll muster enough courage to proceed. Go knock ‘em dead, tiger.
