Today almost everyone has a Facebook account, including celebrities and even politicians. Given its wide range of users, the site contains millions and millions of dating prospects. Locating many of them clearly isn’t a problem. The question is, is your profile picture appealing enough for a stranger to pause and check it out or will it do you any favors if you decide to message a cute stranger? Better change your profile picture if it doesn’t look flattering.

Two Ways to Switch Your Profile Pic

There are a couple of ways to change your profile picture in Facebook, both pretty elementary. The first method only involves running the cursor over your profile pic, which pulls up a list of how you want to change your profile pic. The other method requires you to rummage through your photos, tagged photos, and photo albums.

Through Your Profile

using facebookYour profile contains the most convenient way to change the primary picture. The procedure is straightforward, so you surely won’t encounter any problems.

Procedure:

  1. Click Profile on the site’s top menu to open your profile.
  2. Point your cursor on your picture until the words “Change Picture” appear at the top of the snapshot.
  3. Click on Change Picture. You will, then, see several options like Upload a Picture, Take a Picture (if you have a webcam), and Choose from Album.
  4. Click on your preferred means of changing your profile picture.

Through Your Photos, Albums, and Tagged Images

A Facebook account gives you the privilege to display online photo albums. Tagging photos of you from other people’s accounts increases the number of snapshots displayed on your account. Each of those pictures can be your new profile pic, which is why many people create photo albums frequently.

Procedure:

  1. Click the Photos tab on your profile, the View Photos of Me options under your profile picture, or the Photos window holding your albums.
  2. View your photos and albums.
  3. Once you find a profile-pic-worthy image, click on it.
  4. Hit on Make Profile Picture.

A Striking Profile Picture

Facebook, at first, can be quite confusing to use, given the number of options and applications you can tinker. Once you get accustomd to the site’s feautures, you’ll be changing profile pictures anytime you choose. You can, in fact, create an impact through a striking profile pic. Who knows, your dating prospects and celebrity crushes might find you even before you begin your search.
