Easter is a holiday typically associated with Christians, but it can also be a time to celebrate happiness, rebirth, childhood and a great Spring day. Here’s how to celebrate Easter with the family:

Go to Church

If you are a Christian, Easter is the most important holiday of the year because it is the day Jesus Christ was resurrected. It’s only right and timely that you attend church to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection with the rest of the Christian world before moving on to your other activities for the day.

If you’re arranging an Easter egg hunt, make sure that you have a venue where kids could be safe, and place where you can hide the eggs! Your eggs can be decorated hardboiled eggs (Learn how to dye easter eggs naturally), chocolate eggs or even plastic eggs filled with candies and small toys.

You can also volunteer to paint Easter eggs along with the other adults.

Picnic

Enjoy the Spring day by having a picnic. You can even accompany your picnic trip with hiking, swimming or any outdoor activity that you like. You can even go to an Easter parade or festival in your city or neighboring town. It will be a great opportunity for you to go around and enjoy the day with your family and get to know your neighbors.

Give Goodwill

Easter is wonderful way to reconnect with your next-door neighbors, and even adults can join in the Easter fun. Make your own Easter baskets for your neighbors, which can include chocolate eggs, pastries or even packets of spring flowers that they can plant in their Spring garden.

Throw a Party

Throw an Easter-themed party in your neighborhood. Have your guests come over as famous rabbits or as as anything that can be related to Easter. You can also have a grill set up and a swimming pool where kids can wade and play in. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or ostentatious. Just a fun family gathering with your neighbors will be enough to celebrate the spirit of Easter.
